El Dr. Do‑young Jeong es especialista en obstetricia y ginecología, con enfoque en cirugía mínimamente invasiva, de puerto único y robótica. Realizó el internado en el Hospital de la Universidad Nacional de Seúl y la residencia y formación de posgrado en la Universidad de Corea. Posteriormente completó una subespecialización en oncología ginecológica en el Centro Nacional del Cáncer, centrada en enfermedades uterinas y ováricas. Se desempeñó como director y director médico en los hospitales MizMedi e Incheon Sejong, y más tarde como vicepresidente en el Hospital Dongtan Jeil. Es Profesor Clínico en el Hospital de la Universidad Kyung Hee en Gangdong y Profesor Adjunto en la Universidad de Corea. Además, integra comités de expertos de KSGO, MOHW, MFDS y KHIDI.
Es miembro de las sociedades coreanas de obstetricia y ginecología, endoscopia ginecológica, cirugía robótica ginecológica y medicina reproductiva, así como de ISUOG. Posee patentes de dispositivos quirúrgicos de puerto único, entre ellos una cámara, un anillo de acceso y un sistema de irrigación. Entre sus distinciones figuran el Premio al Residente Sobresaliente de la Universidad de Corea y el Premio al Mejor Póster de la KSGE. Fue primer autor de artículos indexados en SCI en 2013 y 2014. De 2023 a 2025 dirigió estudios sobre miomectomía e histerectomía con da Vinci SP y sobre HIFU.
