El Prof. Nuri Alper Şahbaz es un médico experimentado con educación médica de la Universidad de Estambul, Facultad de Medicina de Cerrahpaşa, y experiencia científica y clínica de la Facultad de Medicina de Baylor y la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Texas. En 2005 obtuvo su título de Máster y comenzó a trabajar como médico en el Hospital Estatal Yüksekova. Obtuvo su doctorado en el Hospital de Formación e Investigación Okmeydanı en el departamento de Cirugía General. Como especialista en cirugía general, trabajó en el Hospital Estatal Zonguldak Atatürk durante 5 años y en Hospital de Formación e Investigación Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank durante 3 años.

Trabajó como profesor asistente en el Departamento de Cirugía General de la Universidad Medipol de Estambul. Actualmente trabaja en el Hospital Pendik de la Universidad Medipol.
