El médico se graduó de la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad de Estambul y ha completado becas en Clínicas Oftalmológicas Universitarias en Colonia y Tubinga, Alemania. Son miembros de DOG, AAO, ASCRS y ESCRS, y cuentan con certificaciones en aplicación de LASIK, corrección de presbicia con lentes intraoculares multifocales, técnicas de fijación escleral, cross-linking de colágeno corneal, aplicaciones de femtosegundos para cirugía del segmento anterior y análisis de topografía corneal. Han completado un doctorado en terapia inmunomoduladora de la uveítis y han asistido a varias conferencias y reuniones, incluida la 42ª reunión anual de la Sociedad Europea de Oftalmología Pediátrica, el Congreso Mundial de Oftalmología y el Congreso de la Sociedad Europea de Cataratas y Cirujanos Refractivos.

After completing his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Sakarya State Hospital. Op. Dr. İşlek was at Albert Szent Gyorgyi University Faculty of Medicine between 1990 and 1992; Between 1992 and 1994, at Istanbul Şişli Eftal Hospital; Between 1998 and 2011, he worked at Antalya Serik State Hospital.
