El Dr. Idris Sertbas es un neurocirujano experimentado en cirugías cerebrales y de columna tanto en adultos como en niños. Realiza procedimientos complejos como cirugías de tumores cerebrales y del cerebelo. También trata a niños con hidrocefalia, médula anclada y craneosinostosis. Tiene experiencia en cirugías avanzadas de columna, incluyendo estabilización por hernia discal, vertebroplastia y cirugía de cifosis.

Está formado en cirugías de neuromodulación, como estimulación cerebral profunda para el Parkinson, estimulación para epilepsia y estimulación medular para dolor crónico. Además, realiza procedimientos para neuralgia del trigémino, espasmo hemifacial e implantación de bomba de baclofeno para espasticidad severa.

El Dr. Sertbas se graduó en la Universidad Cumhuriyet de Sivas y completó su formación en neurocirugía en el Hospital de Formación e Investigación de Ankara. Ha trabajado en el Hospital Estatal de Bartın y en la Universidad Yeni Yüzyıl de Estambul. Actualmente ejerce en la Clínica de Neurocirugía del Hospital Liv Vadistanbul.

El Dr. Gokhan Kursat Kara es un cirujano ortopédico especializado en cirugía de columna, artroplastia, traumatología y corrección de deformidades. Se graduó en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Estambul y realizó su residencia en ortopedia y traumatología en la Universidad de Uludag.

El Dr. Kara ha trabajado en varios hospitales de prestigio y forma parte de Liv Hospital desde 2016. Ha publicado numerosos artículos en revistas científicas. Sus investigaciones abarcan la reparación de tendones, displasia del desarrollo de la cadera, artropatía espinal y métodos quirúrgicos para escoliosis y fracturas vertebrales.

El Dr. Cagri Canbolat es neurocirujano, especializado en cirugía neurooncológica, cirugía de base de cráneo, cirugía neurovascular, cirugía de columna mínimamente invasiva, cirugía oncológica de columna, neurocirugía pediátrica, neurotrauma y cuidados neurointensivos. Completó su formación médica y residencia en neurocirugía en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Cumhuriyet de 2005 a 2018.

El Dr. Canbolat ha investigado los efectos terapéuticos de Etanercept y Ustekinumab en modelos de lesión medular, así como la genética de los defectos del tubo neural. Ha publicado trabajos sobre linfoma primario del sistema nervioso central y resultados quirúrgicos en pacientes ancianos con meningioma intracraneal, analizando 228 casos en estos estudios.

Ha trabajado en Liv Hospital Vadistanbul, Memorial Service Hospital, Acıbadem Maslak Hospital y Vezirköprü State Hospital.

El Prof. Dr. Deniz Süha Küçükaksu es un cirujano cardiovascular con más de 35 años de experiencia. Está especializado en cirugía cardíaca de adultos y niños, trasplante de corazón y soporte circulatorio mecánico. Dirige el Centro de Trasplante Cardíaco y Corazón Artificial en el Hospital Universitario Başkent de Estambul.

El Dr. Küçükaksu realizó su formación médica y quirúrgica en Turquía, y completó becas avanzadas en Alemania, Francia y Estados Unidos. Su enfoque principal ha sido en sistemas LVAD y cirugía para insuficiencia cardíaca.

Introdujo los programas de soporte circulatorio mecánico y corazón artificial en Turquía. Ha realizado diversos tipos de cirugías, como bypass coronario (sin bomba), reemplazo valvular, reparación aórtica (EVAR/TEVAR) y reoperaciones. También ha fundado centros de trasplante cardíaco en varias instituciones.

El Dr. Küçükaksu ha ocupado cargos académicos y administrativos de alto nivel. Ha contribuido a la cirugía de corazón artificial total y a procedimientos cardiovasculares híbridos. Ha recibido premios nacionales e internacionales por su labor científica y quirúrgica.

La Dra. Binnur Simsek es especialista en gastroenterología. Tiene experiencia en cirrosis hepática, hipertensión portal, carcinoma hepatocelular, trasplante de hígado y hepatitis viral (B, C, Delta). También trata la enfermedad hepática grasa alcohólica y no alcohólica, úlceras pépticas, hemorragias gastrointestinales y enfermedades inflamatorias intestinales como la colitis ulcerosa y la colitis de Crohn.

Completó su formación en medicina y gastroenterología en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Estambul. La Dra. Simsek ha trabajado en la Universidad de Estambul, el Hospital de Educación e Investigación de Sanlıurfa, Liv Hospital y la Universidad Istinye. Es miembro de la Asociación Turca para el Estudio del Hígado y de la Sociedad Turca de Gastroenterología.
