Ganó la beca americana de medicina aplicada IMET en 1987 y trabajó en la Clínica de Cirugía Plástica y Clínica de Cirugía Maxilofacial durante 3 meses en el "USA Amelia Earhart Medical Center" en Alemania/Wiesbaden.
En 1989, en el último año de su residencia, ganó la beca educativa del Gobierno de Corea del Sur y trabajó en el "INJE Facultad de Medicina Plástica - Reconstructiva - Craneofacial - Estética y Centro de Microcirugía" en Seúl, Corea del Sur durante 1 año. Dr Tekin moved to London in 2022 and has continued to perform his procedures in İstanbul. Dr Tekin has published numerous scientific articles in international and national plastic surgery journals. He presented many scientific presentations at international and national congresses and conferences.
Dr Tekin attended dozens of international courses led by world-known mentors, improved his deep knowledge, and got certified. He is a member of ISAPS, TPRECD and TTB.
