• En el transcurso de su trabajo, obtuvo una amplia experiencia en el tratamiento de tumores del aparato reproductor femenino y actualmente es la coordinadora del tratamiento de pacientes que padecen estas enfermedades.

Esfera de intereses científicos de la Dra. Tatyana Rabin:

Métodos para la destrucción de neoplasmas malignos por calentamiento con la ayuda de ondas ultrasónicas, el estudio del uso de braquiterapia en el tratamiento de enfermedades oncoginecológicas.

estudio de los mecanismos de reacción a nivel molecular de las células tumorales de próstata a la radioterapia;

estudios clínicos de onco-mamología, onco-neumología, linfoma ocular.

El Dr. Rabin está investigando los mecanismos moleculares de la respuesta de las células de cáncer de próstata a la radioterapia. Este estudio fue organizado en colaboración con el laboratorio del Instituto Ch. Weizmann.

Junto con esto, el Dr. Rabin ha estado involucrado en investigaciones clínicas en los campos del cáncer de mama, cáncer de pulmón y linfoma ocular.

Actualmente, el Dr. Rabin está coordinando un estudio nuevo y único en el Hospital Sheba para investigar el tratamiento del cáncer con ondas de ultrasonido guiadas por resonancia magnética. Este método consiste en aumentar la temperatura del tumor hasta ciertos límites y su posterior destrucción.

Premios:

La Dra. Tatyana Rabin fue reconocida como la mejor empleada del hospital en 2007.

Experiencia y participación en investigaciones científicas:

• Investigación científica en el campo de la oncoginecología
• Investigación científica en el campo de los tumores de pulmón
• El uso de la braquiterapia en oncoginecología
• Técnicas SBRT en el tratamiento de tumores del aparato respiratorio
• Estudio de los mecanismos moleculares de respuesta de las células tumorales de próstata a la radioterapia. Este estudio fue organizado en colaboración con el laboratorio del Instituto Ch. Weizmann.
• Junto con esto, el Dr. Rabin ha estado involucrado en investigaciones clínicas en los campos del cáncer de mama, cáncer de pulmón y linfoma ocular.
