El Dr. Deniz Goren es especialista en medicina interna y hematología en el Hospital Memorial Göztepe (Estambul). Previamente trabajó en el Hospital Memorial Şişli, en el Hospital Istanbul Florence Nightingale y en los hospitales estatales Yunus Emre de Eskişehir.
El Dr. Goren fue profesor asociado en Demiroglu Bilim University de 2020 a 2024 y antes profesor asistente de 2017 a 2020. Completó la subespecialidad en hematología en la Universidad Eskişehir Osmangazi. Realizó la residencia en medicina interna y obtuvo el título de médico (MD) en la Universidad de Ankara. Posteriormente llevó a cabo una beca posdoctoral en la Escuela de Medicina de Harvard y el Centro de Diabetes Joslin.
Entre sus premios figuran TÜBİTAK 2219, los premios Young Participant de la Asociación Turca de Hematología y Fuat Aydınlı Young Researcher, y la subvención SOHO Young Investigator. Ha publicado 32 artículos internacionales y 14 nacionales revisados por pares y ha realizado 88 presentaciones. Completó el Curso Internacional de Trasplante de la EBMT, la clase magistral de linfoma y el Curso de Soporte Vital Avanzado.
