Experto ginecólogo y especialista en el cuidado de la mama con amplia experiencia quirúrgica en cáncer de mama y ginecológico, y experiencia docente en obstetricia y ginecología. Coordina múltiples proyectos de investigación sobre nuevas tecnologías para el tratamiento del cáncer de la mujer, marcadores pronósticos y dianas terapéuticas, y nuevas imágenes por ultrasonido.

Expertise in a wide range of minimally-invasive and multimodal guided-surgery techniques applied to Breast Cancer, with a strong commitment to oncoplastics, and to Gyne- cologic Oncology, with a deep research interest in vulvar malignancies (over 2000 surgical procedures performed).
Teaching activity: Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Catholic University in Rome, teaching in Degree, Residency, Master and International Fellowship courses. Faculty member in the Royal College of Surgeons, England at St. George’s Advanced Patient Simulation and Skills (GAPS) Centre.
Coordinator in many research projects with the topic of: development of new technologies for women’s cancer treatment; bio-molecular characterization of prognostic markers and therapeutic targets in rare gyn-tumors; development of new ultrasound dynamic Imaging.
