Many surgeries can be performed with the Laparoscopic system, which is popularly known as the closed system. He has the most experience in Bariatric and Metabolic surgery.. In the field of obesity and diabetes, which can now be treated with surgery, such as Sleeve Gastrektomi(Tube stomach), Gastric By-Pass, Mini Gastric By-Pass(Diabetes surgery)  , he performs successfully. Endoscopic Botox treatment and gastric balloon are applied in patients who are not suitable for surgery..

He completed his medical education at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine between 2005-2011 and his specialization education at Kocatepe University Faculty of Medicine between 2013-2018. He successfully passed the board of the Turkish Surgical Society in 2018, and became the 3rd in Turkey in the minor medical specialization exam. Dr. Abdulkadir Bedirli completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1988. He became a General Surgeon in 1997 and was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He became a Professor in 2010.

In 2011, Dr. Bedirli completed the Robotic Surgery Certification Program in Strasbourg and became a console surgeon. He performed his first robotic surgery in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University in the same year. Since then, he has successfully applied robotic surgery to over 1500 patients, mostly for obesity, stomach cancer, and colon-rectum cancers.

In 2012, Dr. Bedirli became a Surgical Oncology Specialist and participated in training programs on Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in Paris-France in 2014 and in Lyon-France in 2016. In 2018, he completed the Gastric Cancer Master Class program at Severance Hospital in Seoul-South Korea, and in 2019, he participated in the Bariatric Redo Surgery training program in Bruges-Belgium.

Dr. Bedirli was awarded the F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) title by the American College of Surgeons in 2018. He has published 61 international and 47 national papers, presented 87 papers at international conferences and 68 papers at national conferences, contributed to 7 book chapters, and served as an editor for one book. Dr. Bedirli has an H-index of 18, with 1064 citations to his 72 publications.

General Surgery; It is the medical unit that interacts with many medical units and is responsible for the surgical treatment of systemic and local problems in the body. The field of interest of the unit is quite wide, therefore, different medical units are constantly contacted and cases are approached from a multidisciplinary perspective. General surgeons work in the treatment of many diseases and traumas seen in many parts of the human body. Performing many applications in the unit with innovative techniques such as laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery provides benefits in terms of reducing the risk of complications and shortening the recovery period in patients. He was born in Istanbul in 1982. He graduated from Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine. In 2012, he completed his specialization in emergency medicine at Taksim First Aid Training and Research Hospital. Between 2013-2018, he specialized in general surgery at Haseki Training and Research Hospital. Between 2018-2020, he fulfilled his compulsory service at Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital. Since 2020, he has been continuing his service at Avrasya Hospital and has specialized in general surgery and obesity surgery for the last five years.
