El profesor Drach es especialista en oncología con un doctorado de la Universidad de Medicina de Viena. Tiene experiencia en investigación, medicina interna, oncología hematológica, nutrición y estilo de vida en cáncer. Es el Director de la Clínica Privada Josefstadt en Viena y miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Sociedad Austriaca de Hematología y Oncología. Ha publicado más de 120 artículos científicos y dado más de 200 conferencias/presentaciones.
Mostrar másProfessor Santoro is heavily involved in research, with interest in many topics, such as the development of new cancer drugs and new biological therapies, interests for solid and haematological tumours, and not only he treats cancer survivors but also patients with comorbidities.
He has worked in Humanitas Research Hospital for 22 years. Professor Santoro’s post-graduate research was carried out at the Unité de Development Therapeutique (Institut de Cancerologie et d’Immunogenetique, Villejuif of Paris) from 1974 to 1975, and in the Division of Medical Oncology of the National Cancer Institute of Milan from 1976 to 1977.
In 1977, he specialized in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology at University of Rome. In 1979, he completed his fellowship post-graduate work in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York and later, at Stanford University. In 1980, he specialized in oncology at the University of Genoa.
Current Teaching Activity: Professor Santoro worked as Contract Professor at the Specialization School in Clinical Pathology ad Pavia University from 1992 to 1997. Also, from 1993 to 2002 he has been President of the Rare Tumour Group. Now he is full professor at Humanitas University.

Mostrar másProf. Dr. Osman İLHAN graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. After completing his internal medicine residency at the same faculty in 1982, he served as a senior resident at the GATA Hematology Clinic during his military service. After completing his mandatory service at SSK Ulus Hospital, he returned to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for a subspecialty. In 1990, he became an associate professor of hematology. He worked in Genoa, Italy to increase his knowledge and experience in leukemia. He was part of the team that performed the first bone marrow stem cell transplant in Turkey. In 1996, he went to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA to work on "Stem Cell Mobilization, Cryopreservation, and Transplantation." In 1996, he became a professor of hematology. In 1999, he was elected as the regional president of ESFH (European Society for Hemapheresis). Dr. İlhan, who was the founder and president of the Hemapheresis Society in 2000, joined the World Apheresis Association (WAA) in 2001. He became the President of the Turkish Hematology Association in October 2001. Dr. İlhan, who is an active member of the European Hematology Association (EHA), was a member of the accreditation committee (ECAH) for education. He played a role in the accreditation of Turkish hematologists in CME credits by participating in the accreditation of congresses and courses held in Turkey as a Provider Status. He served as the founding president of the Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association established in 2008. He became the founding president of the Geriatric Hematology Association in 2011. He is the Honorary President of the World Apheresis Congress (WAA) held in 2012. Dr. İlhan, who previously served on drug licensing and ethics committees at the Ministry of Health, has also served as the Chairman of the Photopheresis-Apheresis Commission and the Scientific Committee for Bone Marrow Transplantation, as well as the Chairman of the National Organ Tissue Cell Coordination Board, the Scientific Board of Cord Blood, and the Stem Cell Research Board. He is the founding president of the STEM CELL FOUNDATION and has played an important role in the establishment of TURKOK (Turkish Stem Cell Donor Bank). Dr. İlhan has over 300 publications in journals registered in PubMed and more than 5000 citations. He holds the Platinum CME certificate from the European Hematology Association. He owns four brands/patents named “Kökten Çözüm (Deep Solution), Telehematoloji (Telehematology), Hemaferez (Hemapheresis), Kanser Kök Hücresi (Cancer Stem Cell)”. He is currently the President of the Ankara Medical Association. Prof. Dr. Osman İlhan, who served at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for 50 years, began working at Özel Koru Ankara Hospital as of January 1, 2023.

Es experto en diagnóstico y tratamiento de patologías hematológicas y trasplante de células madre hematopoyéticas, y ha participado en el primer trasplante de médula ósea en España. Es licenciado en medicina general por la Universidad CEU San Pablo, se ha formado en patología de linfomas en la Universidad de Kiel y tiene una especialidad en hematología y hemoterapia por la Universidad de Alcalá. Ha ganado numerosos premios por su investigación científica y ha publicado más de 40 artículos sobre sus estudios. Es miembro de la Sociedad Española de Hematología y Hemoterapia.

Al principio de su carrera, Dina Ben-Yehuda ingresó a la facultad de medicina de la Universidad Ben-Gurion del Negev.
Después de tres años de estudios de posgrado en el Centro de Cáncer Memorial Sloan-Kettering en Nueva York, Dina Ben-Yehuda regresó a Hadassah en 1992.
En abril de 2000, el profesor fue nombrado director del departamento de hematología.
En 2017, la profesora Ben-Yehuda se convirtió en la decana número 23 de la Escuela de Medicina de Hadassah y la primera mujer en dirigir una facultad de medicina con más de 70 años de historia.
La profesora Dina Ben-Yehuda se convirtió en la primera mujer soldado en recibir el Premio al Jefe de Estado Mayor por su iniciativa de recopilar información sobre las personas muertas o desaparecidas durante los combates.
Recientemente, Dina Ben-Yehuda recibió el Premio de la Fundación. Daniel Sonnenfeld Sanación desde el corazón. El premio honorífico se otorga a médicos y enfermeras que van más allá de su profesión y hacen mucho más por los pacientes de lo que dicta la ética médica.
