He is the author of over 200 reports on Hip, Knee, Ankle, Shoulder Prosthetics, Hip, Ankle, Knee, Elbow, Wrist, Shoulder Arthroscopy, BioTechnology, Sports Traumatology. He was awarded twice with the Bellando-Randone Prize of the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatologists (SIOT) for the best monograph of the year 1983 with the book "Radiculography Lombare - Text Atlas", Editrice Roma; and for the best monograph of the 1997 with the volume "Arthroscopy of the ankle - Practical manual of surgical technique" Editrice Fortuna.

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University in Warsaw. Since 2015, I have been a senior assistant at the Orthopedics and RheumoOrthopedics Clinic of the CMKP Hospital named after Prof. A. Gruca in Otwock, and since 2018 – a research assistant at the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education in Warsaw. I gained professional experience in domestic and foreign centers. I did internships and participated in numerous courses in Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Great Britain. I speak Polish and English.

Main areas of my interest include mainly knee and hip replacements, complications after endoprostheses, periprosthetic infections, reconstructive procedures within the knee joint, including arthroscopic procedures and corrective osteotomies of the tibia (e.g. HTO, tibial tuberosity osteotomies), as well as surgical treatment of neuropathies: carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar nerve syndrome. I am the author and co-author of numerous publications.

Andrew Foggitt is a UK-trained Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon who studied at Liverpool University Medical School, before undertaking his surgical and orthopedic training in the Wessex region of the South of England. He passed the orthopedic exit exam in 2000 and took up a Consultant post in November 2002 in Winchester, UK, as a General Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery. This was a new post, and he set up a foot and ankle service, which was sufficiently successful, that he had to give up his general orthopedic practice to concentrate on purely foot and ankle surgery, which he continued, for over 19 years before moving to the Burjeel Hospital in Dubai, full-time, to provide foot and ankle services to the local population. He is supported by an integrated hospital team, providing a holistic service, including nurses, physiotherapists, podiatrists, orthotics, and a dedicated back-room team who will assist you through your hospital journey. After completing his medical doctorate education at Gazi University School of Medicine, which is located in the capital city of Ankara he carried on to his Orthopaedic and Traumatology fellowship training at the same university. After his fellow training, he completed his mandatory governmental and military duties as an orthopaedic surgeon between 2008 and 2011. He later started his Orthopaedic career in Istanbul Acıbadem Hospitals network. Between 2013 and 2022 he served as an academic member of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar School of Medicine where he was entitled Associate Professor in 2021. He is now private practicing in his own clinic in Istanbul. 

Starting from the year 2014 he has been especially focused on the fields of patient-specific orthopaedic surgery, computer-aided surgical planning, 3D printed custom surgical guides and implants. These fields are very novel even throughout the world. He performed many surgeries as the first examples of their own for Turkey. He mainly uses his special interest and knowledge on patient-specific orthopaedics to surgically treat technically challenging cases of malunion, bone deformity and complex arthroplasty cases including revision arthroplasty.
