Op. Dr. Ahmet Kurtulmuş graduated from İzmir Private Turkish College in 1986. He completed his medical education at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. Between 1992 and 1996, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at İzmir Atatürk Hospital. Between 2000 and 2006, Dr. Ahmet Kurtulmuş operated his own private clinic at the same time, where he managed his patients and performed surgeries at an affiliated private hospital with which he had an agreement. Due to unchanged regulations during that period, he was also able to work at a state hospital in addition to managing his private clinic and conducting surgeries at the affiliated private hospital. Dr. Abdurrahim Gözen, born in 1982 in Gercüş, Batman, is a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology with a focus on pediatric orthopedics, trauma, arthroscopy, and arthroplasty. After graduating from Istanbul University Medical Faculty, he completed his residency at Yüzüncü Yıl University. With over six years of professional experience in both state and private hospitals, Dr. Gözen is an active member of associations like TOTBİD and TUSYAD. He has participated in numerous national and international conferences, consistently enhancing his expertise in orthopedic surgery and advancing patient care practices.

Nació en Niğde, una ciudad situada en la parte central de Anatolia. Estudió el bachillerato en Adana. Se graduó en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Ankara. Comenzó su carrera en el Hospital de Ciencias Neurológicas de Bakırköy en la Clínica del Dr. Zeki Oral en 1987 y terminó su residencia en Neurocirugía en 1993. Durante este período, completó su formación en microneurocirugía, lo que supuso un gran avance para él, en la “Clínica del Profesor M. Gazi Yaşargil” de la Universidad de Zúrich.

Entre 1993 y 2003 trabajó como profesor asistente y luego como profesor adjunto en la Clínica del Profesor Necmettin Pamir, Facultad de Medicina, Universidad de Mármara. Al mismo tiempo, obtuvo logros clínicos y quirúrgicos en el campo de la neurooncología y la neurocirugía vascular en la Clínica del Profesor Donlin M. Long y Daniele Rigamonti en la Universidad Johns Hopkins, EE. UU. En 2003, recibió el título de Profesor Asociado de Neurocirugía.

Entre 2004 y 2010 trabajó como jefe de clínica en el Hospital de Formación e Investigación de Göztepe del Ministerio de Salud. Durante este período, llevó a su clínica a convertirse en la única clínica acreditada por la EANS (Asociación Europea de Sociedades de Neurocirugía) en Turquía, con sus servicios educativos y asistenciales. Durante este período, completó su formación en endoscopia de la base del cráneo, que comenzó en la Universidad de Pittsburgh.

En 2010, comenzó a trabajar en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Acıbadem y se convirtió en profesor de Neurocirugía. Estableció el Departamento de Neurocirugía en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Medipol en 2012. Se desempeñó como Jefe del Departamento de Neurocirugía en los Hospitales Memorial Health Group de Estambul entre 2014 y 2018. Trabajó en el Departamento de Neurocirugía del Hospital Maslak de Acıbadem Health Group con su equipo entre 2018 y septiembre de 2021.

Desde el 01.10.2021, comenzó a trabajar con su equipo en mi clínica privada ubicada en Fulya y Ulus Hospital de Liv Health Group.

Fue presidente fundador de la “Skull Base Society” en Turquía y también es miembro del Comité Ejecutivo de la European Skull Base Society (ESBS).

Ha publicado más de 110 artículos científicos en revistas arbitradas internacionales (SCI/SCIEx) y nacionales y 18 artículos científicos. Tiene más de 250 presentaciones en congresos científicos, libros publicados y capítulos de libros.
