I chose Turkeyana after seeing their ads and social media presence, thinking they were a reputable and professional clinic. I flew all the way to Turkey expecting good care and clear communication — but from the moment I arrived, things started going wrong.
First, there was a huge language barrier. Almost no one spoke proper English, and every conversation felt confusing or incomplete. Important things like how many grafts I was getting, what technique they were using, or how to take care of my scalp afterward were barely explained. I had to rely on translation apps just to understand the basics, and that made the whole process extremely stressful and unsettling.
Then came the hidden fees. The quote I received before traveling was totally different from what I was charged once I got there. Suddenly, there were extra costs for things like “medications,” “aftercare packages,” and even “special tools.” By that point, you’ve already traveled thousands of miles, and they pressure you into paying more because backing out feels impossible. It’s manipulative and incredibly disappointing.
The procedure itself felt rushed and impersonal. I didn’t feel cared for or reassured at any point — it was like I was just another number in a long line of patients. The staff was distracted, and I felt completely lost during and after the surgery. Aftercare instructions were vague and inconsistent, and when I asked questions, the responses were short or unclear.
After going through all this, I left feeling mentally drained, disappointed, and honestly, a bit traumatized. I spent my savings hoping for a life-changing confidence boost, but what I got was stress, confusion, and regret.
If you’re considering Turkeyana Clinic, please think twice. Don’t be fooled by their polished marketing and influencers. Ask every single question beforehand, demand everything in writing, and make sure you’re able to fully communicate with the staff before you commit. No one deserves to feel this helpless or misled during such a personal and emotional procedure.
