The founder of Smile Academy, Dr. Dr. Yaprak Kalkan was born in Istanbul in 1988. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. She went to Turku University in Finland to carry out the experiments of her studies on diabetic patients during her doctorate, which she started in the Department of Periodontology of the same university. After working in corporate and VIP health institutions such as Maslak Acıbadem Hospital, she planned to open her own clinic to take her profession to a different point and laid the foundations of Smile Academy. She has many national and international scientific publications and papers. She took part in the management many times in the leading scientific organizations of the profession, such as the 101st FDI World Dental Congress. In 2019, she assumed the position of Deputy Secretary General of the 25th International TDA Congress. She has been working as a member of the 2012-2016 Community Oral and Dental Health Commission, a member of the 2016-2020 Young Dentists Commission, and since 2018 as the General Assembly Delegate of the Turkish Dental Association at the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists.

Büşra Çağırıcı, a 2019 graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, works as a responsible manager and general dentist within the scope of her successful education life. Experience has been gained in general dental treatments and smile design such as Lamina, zirconium, implant-supported fixed prosthesis, hybrid prosthesis, aesthetic filling. Candan Cantaş was born in Sivas in 1996 and completed her primary and secondary education there. She successfully completed her high school education at Prof. Dr. Necati Ersen Anatolian Teacher Training High School, where she was also awarded. In 2014, she started her 5-year dental education at the Faculty of Dentistry at Cumhuriyet University, and completed it in 2019. She started working as a dentist in the same year, and currently works at Istanbul Dental. Candan aims to provide the best treatment to her patients by using up-to-date knowledge and techniques in her field of expertise. She is also determined to have a successful career by focusing on continuous professional development.

Dentist Berat Can Palazoğlu was born in Ordu in 1996. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in his hometown of Ordu, demonstrating early on a commitment to his studies and a passion for healthcare. Dr. Izim Turker graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2017 and completed her doctoral education in Yeditepe University Department of Prosthetic Dentistry in 2021. She started working in Bahcesehir University Vocational School of Health Services, Department of Dental Prosthesis Technologies as lecturer. She is currently working as Assistant Professor in Bahcesehir University Faculty of Dentistry.
