Es médico de la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén, Escuela de Medicina Hadassah y tiene una Maestría en Administración de la Salud de la Universidad Ben-Gurion en el Negev, Escuela de Administración, Departamento de Administración de Sistemas de Salud. Está certificado por la junta de cirugía general y ortopédica de Israel, certificado en medicina aeronáutica, y ha asistido al Curso Avanzado de AO: Avances en el tratamiento de fracturas, Leeds y curso de Instructor de Soporte Vital Avanzado en Trauma.
