Never visit this hospital if you have International-insurance, they will make sure you pay 4-times more with all fake bills. They will create a mess with with your insurance company and also will try to extract money from your pocket as well. Although they have same good doctors, but hospital management is a fraud. All 5* ratings that you will see in google or facebook review are mostly from their staff.

ATTN: All Gringos in the GDL area. After a minor procedure my husband was presented with a bill for for $1.3M pesos. Four times more that the same procedure would have been in the states. Even if it is an emergency, don't go here or any of their other hospitals. They will take your retirement, savings, and quality of life without blinking an eye.

I had my baby born at this hospital, the service was awful and the experience in general was terrible, won’t recommend this place, for family matters.

This is a high end hospital (Mexican standards) for plastic surgeries mostly. My partner had his lipo with some other procedures done by one of the popular doctors in the area. He stayed overnight. This was our first time experiencing a hospital stay in Mexico. Most of the staff members assigned to us were bilingual. It was easy to communicate the needs. The nurse-patient ratio is lower than in non-private hospitals. You get more attention. The case was not complex and the room was non-monitored, vital signs were taken manually every 4 hours. I am glad I went with him… culturally, it is expected for someone to be near the bedside to help with basic nursing assistant duties while the primary nurse is busy. There were no curfew for visitors. There were also no restrictions to enter the building, the room or bring food. They have a one person at a time policy. Both of us were provided with comfortable blankets, pillows, sheets, towels. There was a side couch you could rest for the night. They also provided toiletries - shampoos, conditioner, soaps, hand cream, a dental kit. We enjoyed a large TV, a closed, used a safe. Some of the call lights were not answered promptly. The room was missing important parts - suction, vital signs machine, computer to scan medications (if it exits in this country). The patient bed was not as comfortable and didn’t support auto rotation. The sequential compression device did not have to stay on for the duration of the bed rest which is not consistent with the current evidence-based practices. The nurses did not wear gloves when accessing an IV or when changing lines. I asked for wet wipes to help with cleaning some of the areas - never been provided. The cafeteria had some good food options and called us over a stationary room phone all the time to ask for preferences. If the patient was alone in the room, it would have been impossible to reach over and answer a phone call. Overall, the experience at this hospital was above average due to good customer service skills of the staff and overall accommodations which were enough for a post-op observation unit.

Well. At 3am my 3 year old began to complain that her stomach hurt. So we were on our way. We arrived and the reseption staff was friendly. There inicial chage is 550 pesos for the consult. 350 if you use one of the beds in the emergancy room and then a lttle medicine and a urine exam. Total was about 1.400.000 thats like 70 dolars. It took around 3 hours. The doctor was really nice and the nurse too. I would definitly recomend the service. I Have inbursa insurance and i found it strange that i had to pay out of pocket and then report it to the isurance company. That is something that they forgot to mention when they sold me the insurance. Hope I can help.
