¿Qué tal su experiencia?
Formación académica
Amal Tolba’s story begins with a search for therapies after her youngest child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) following hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) at birth due to medical malpractice. At Hope AMC, she serves as Managing Director, bringing that firsthand understanding of urgent, long-term rehabilitation needs into the way the clinic is run. She is a graduate of the American University in Cairo with a Major in Computer Science and a Minor in Electronics, both with highest honors. In her account, she traveled around the world during the first 3 years of her daughter’s life to find hope through treatments and techniques that were not yet known in her region.
That personal journey is presented as the reason she began Hope AMC—built around the idea that families need coordinated care, not fragmented referrals. Within the clinic, her leadership role supports a multidisciplinary environment for special needs children and rehabilitation planning.
