• El Prof. Dr. Selami Serhat Şirvan se graduó en la Facultad de Medicina de Estambul de la Universidad de Estambul en 2007. Ese mismo año, inició su residencia en Cirugía Plástica, Reconstructiva y Estética en el Hospital de Formación e Investigación Şişli Etfal, concluyéndola en 2013.

• Entre 2013 y 2015, cumplió con su servicio obligatorio en el Hospital Estatal Şişli Hamidiye Etfal y Selahattin Cizrelioğlu.

• Tras completar su servicio, aprobó el examen de jefe de residentes y regresó al Hospital de Formación e Investigación Şişli Hamidiye Etfal en 2015 como jefe de residentes en la Clínica de Cirugía Plástica, Reconstructiva y Estética.

• Ese mismo año, recibió formación en microcirugía avanzada en la Universidad de Columbia, Nueva York.

• En 2015, aprobó satisfactoriamente los exámenes escritos y orales del Consejo Europeo de Cirugía Plástica, Reconstructiva y Estética (EBOPRAS), obteniendo la certificación europea. Asimismo, recibió la Certificación del Consejo Turco otorgada por la Sociedad Turca de Cirugía Plástica, Reconstructiva y Estética en el mismo año.

• El Dr. Selami Serhat Şirvan es autor de más de 40 artículos científicos publicados en revistas nacionales e internacionales y ha realizado más de 100 presentaciones orales. Tras obtener el título de "Profesor Asociado" en 2020, el Dr. Şirvan obtuvo el título de "Profesor" en 2025 gracias a la continuidad de su trabajo académico y sus aportaciones originales.

• Entre 2020 y 2021, ocupó el cargo de Jefe Administrativo de la Clínica de Cirugía Plástica, Reconstructiva y Estética del Hospital de Formación e Investigación Şişli Hamidiye Etfal. De 2021 a 2022, trabajó como Supervisor de Formación en la misma clínica.

• Ha participado en numerosos congresos y cursos relacionados con su especialidad, y también se ha desempeñado como instructor en cursos de microcirugía.
