The clinic stayed in touch consistently after I was discharged, which was reassuring. I'm in early recovery from my tummy tuck with muscle repair and abdominal liposuction, and so far, I am feeling about as expected. The process was organized. In my own words, all has been handled correctly by the clinic, the result is good and i liked both the hospital room and the hotel one. The primary difficulty was that the staff itself could have a better understanding of the English language. Be prepared for some extra costs. I had to pay for aftercare medicines upon leaving the clinic and for my meals at the hotel.

The surgeon checking in with me personally was a key moment. It felt professional. My recovery from the full arm lift on both arms is going about as expected so far. The surgeon was attentive and checked in, and the translator helped in particular with the surgeon. I also loved the surgical nurse, Ezra, who is an angel making sure you have all you need. My one point of feedback is that I would like more idea of after care before the surgery, though the clinic did provide a clear aftercare guide afterward. Medicines for after care were an additional expense. My advice for future patients: have a translator app to speak to staff when needed, and take some protein bars in case you are hungry.
Loved the surgical nurse, Ezra, who is an angel making sure you have all you need. Surgeon was attentive and checked in. Translator helped in particular with the surgeon.
Would like more idea of after care before the surgery.

The conversation with my surgeon before the procedure was very direct; he discussed the risks and the full recovery timeline clearly, which helped me prepare. On the whole, I was really satisfied with everything. The doctor was very nice and very helpful. The staff were very friendly. It was also a relief that there were no additional expenses beyond the agreed price. I'm still healing. The clinic has been easy to reach with my follow-up questions, which is reassuring during this period of recovery.

En cuanto vi el resultado, incluso con la hinchazón inicial, me di cuenta de que la forma era exactamente la que quería. Es una sensación maravillosa. Mi objetivo era conseguir una punta más definida, y eso es precisamente lo que el cirujano logró mediante una técnica abierta. Todo el proceso fue muy fluido y el personal se mostró realmente atento. Lo más difícil de la recuperación hasta ahora es tener que dormir sentada, pero es algo temporal. Una gran ventaja es que ya respiro perfectamente por la nariz. Estoy muy agradecida por la destreza del cirujano y la comunicación clara del equipo.

The whole experience was good from airport transfers through to translator and staff. While a language barrier existed, the translator was on hand for most issues, and if not, we got by. The hospital was first class and so was the care. I am still in early recovery from the liposuction-only procedure on my chest and sides, and I feel about as expected. The only additional expense was for medication when I left, which I was aware would be the case. There has been little contact since, but they are easy to reach if I need. I felt I knew what to expect during recovery so haven’t needed to make contact.

Ezra, the doctor’s assistant, made me feel like a family member. The staff was patient when I used my phone to translate. I am used to a pain scale and there isn't one here, which led to some uncomfortable carry-over pain. For my full arm lift with liposuction on both arms, extended past the elbow, the doctor personally did the markings and explained arm positioning for recovery. I feel better than expected. The clinic has stayed in touch. My advice: bring extra personal wipes and have medical alerts printed in Turkish.

I am used to using a pain scale and there is nothing similar here so I had some carry over pain. Nothing extreme just enough to be uncomfortable.

Estoy muy satisfecha con mi experiencia en general. He recibido un trato excelente y me he sentido bien atendida y acompañada durante todo el proceso. Mi cirujano marcó mi cuerpo cuidadosamente antes de la abdominoplastia con liposucción y explicó en detalle dónde estarían las cicatrices. Como aspectos a mejorar, el servicio de coche debería ser VIP para todos, especialmente después de una operación. También creo que la comida del hospital es mejorable y se debe prestar atención a las necesidades de cada paciente, como en mi caso, que soy celíaca. Considero que la preparación preoperatoria debe ser más exhaustiva; al ser una paciente con anemia, una mejor valoración previa podría haber evitado la necesidad de transfusiones. Tuve que pagar 100 € adicionales por un electrocardiograma que hubo que repetir. Es muy pronto para valorar los resultados finales.

If you're considering this, here's my honest take. Everything went more or less as planned, and it's definitely not a scam; the quoted price was the final price. The logistics like airport pickup and the private hospital room were handled well. The main issue was communication. I only spoke with the surgeon a few days before my flight, which caused a lot of insecurity because I couldn't get my questions answered in time. In the hospital, the translator isn't always with you. While my surgeon measured and marked me carefully for my anchor lift, the brief consultations left me concerned. It's still too early to tell about the final outcome, and I don't know how much my nipples were repositioned. Get all your questions answered long before you travel and bring two payment cards. Pack light!
Everything went more or less as planned, no big issues or problems. They picked me up at the airport, took me to the hospital where I was checked in and taken to my room after my payment. In the hospital I've received 3 meals a day, had a room with a single hospital bed, a sofa, television, wardrobe and toilet for myself. Before the surgery I had blood tests and EKG done, I've also talked to the anesthesiologist and the surgeon before the surgery for a short time, in my opinion the conversation could have been longer to answer some more question. After the surgery I was taken back to my room and received the nurses assistance for the next days. Before I went home I saw the surgeon one last time. All in all it was a good and successful experience, it's not a scam!!! The combined price stayed until the end, everything said was true.
One thing that could be better is the communication with bookimed and also the communication with the hospital. Unfortunately almost until the time of travel some of my questions were not answered and I only had the chance to talk to the surgeon per Video only a few days before surgery, which is not ideal and made me feel really insecure because I could not have my questions answered with enough time before the surgery to feel safe and secure to travel to another country with no companion. I did it anyway because I researched a lot and bookimed seemed authentic, but this was of the things that would have made me cancel the surgery. Also the same goes to the hospital, everything, the translator doesn't stay with you all the time and most of the nurses did not speak English, so there's no way of asking them what are they doing, what are they giving you, why are they taking your blood, etc. The meeting with the doctor was also very fast just a few hours before the surgery, again there was not enough time to have all my questions answered. Going to the surgery the same, the translator was there just for a few minutes, the doctors there didn't talk to me, didn't explain anything to me before giving me anesthesy or anything, they just gave it to me without even saying it and then I woke up when the surgery was over and gladly everything went fine, but that's not OK, the doctors are supposed to walk the patient through every step before surgery to pass a sense of security and calm to the patient. This part of it definitely needs improvement.
